Oriental rug in the kitchen??? Shocker? Naaahh!!

Rugs are on my mind these days, both for the girls' room and for the living room. My mind kept on racing like it always does, till it got to the Oriental rugs. I use here the term loosely, referring to persian, kilim,  afgan and all there in between. I AM NO EXPERT, so here is an explanation of someone who knows more:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<<"Oriental rug" is a piled or flatwoven fabric hand-knotted in one of the traditional weaving areas of the Middle or Far East. Genuine "Oriental rugs" come from Afghanistan, China, India, Iran, Nepal, Pakistan, Tibet, Turkey, some of the southern territories of the old Soviet Union (like Azerbaijan or Armenia), Balkan countries like Romania and Albania, and some North African countries like Morocco and Egypt. Genuine Oriental rugs are not made in Belgium or anywhere else in Western Europe or in the United States (there are hand-woven rugs made by native Americans in the American Southwest, but these are called "Navajo rugs" or "American Indian rugs"). "Wilton"®, "Karistan"® and "Couristan"® rugs are rugs made by machine in Oriental rug designs; they are not "Oriental rugs". No genuine Oriental rugs are made of nylon or polypropylene.>>

The idea of my post is that, although I don't own one, I'd love to have one, for my living room, or a small one for the kitchen. My all modern cabinets that are going to be all white+ black countertop+ a smudge of wood,   are screaming for an Oriental rug under the table or even a smaller one ( I dream of a colored kilim) at the base of the cabinets!! In my modern kitchen with an old vintage bufet or credenza which I haven't found yet,  such a rug will fit perfectly. In my opinion anyway!!:)) What do you say??

This is what I call perfection!!
-----
PERFECTIUNE!!

This is a girl's room, but I'd love such a rug in my kitchen!!
-----

Don't you just love the peeking rug here?!?!:)
-----
Arata demential in bucataria alba!

Love the pattern!! It would look great under my table!!
-----

Smaller one works great too...
-----
Unul mai mic e super, de asemenea!!

Peek-a-boo!!
-----
Cucu-bau!!

The rug adds character to the room.
-----

Love the rug with the modern chairs!!
-----

And if you are afraid that you'll ruin your expensive Oriental rug in the kitchen, keep in mind that they are so perfect for this place just because a stain will almost never show due to the saturated colours and pattern!!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Iar daca va temeti ca va veti strica covorul in bucatarie, din cauza murdariei de acolo si a traficului crescut, sa nu va fie, pentru ca aceste covoare sunt foarte rezistente, iar petele de-abia se vad pe modelele complicate si pe culorile saturate de pe acest tip de covoare!!

Hope you liked my choices!!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sper ca v-a ajutat postarea mea! Ce ziceti? Ati folosi in covor Oriental in bucatarie??

xoxo,
Ozana

amount of work? I have very little expertise in programming however I was hoping to
