Annie Sloan Chalk Paint frenzy continues!!

Hi, guys!!
I want to thank you all for your kind comments on my diamond tufted headboard- diy that I posted yesterday here, your comments really made my day!!
Next is another experiment of mine, the mirror I painted gold a couple of months ago! I added Emperor's Silk over the gold, then Provence, sanded to create the old look, then dark wax. I am not a fan of the old look, but I wanted to try it!! I have a feeling it won't stay like this for long!!:))

FIRST IT WAS PAINTED  GOLD:

I PAINTED IT EMPEROR'S SILK,
THEN PROVENCE:

I SANDED IT TO SHOW THE GOLD AND THE RED
AND AFTER I APPLIED CLEAR WAX, THEN DARK WAX!

Like my flowery dress I'm wearing in winter?!:))

I have another project for which I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, but for now I'll show you only a sneak peek:

Hope you have an exciting week!!

xoxo,
Ozana

  1. I really like the mirror frame :-) It was a great idea to use both red and blue and then sand it down to expose the gold as well. Really nice layering of colours :-)

Now I have to go check out your tufted headboard!

  3. It looks so good. The nice thing is if you don't like it down the road you can always change it!
