Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Provence- painted dresser

Hello, lovelies!!
How are you, darlings?? Me? Ok!! Blooming as a spring flower!! I wish!!:))) I'm tired, but happy; living in a house, as opposed to living in a two-room apartment, is quite a change!! There are so many things to do, always putting things in place and wiping stuff!! But I like it, no complains here.
I showed you in a previous post a part of my entrance, there is another part I didn't show you, the painted dresser I have from my mother. I decided to use the rest of my Provence can, which is the same paint I used for the stair risers. Here it is now, all happy and colorful:

Can you believe I have nothing to style it with?? There is so much stuff I need to complete each place in this house!! It would look great with two orchids in front of the window, some square baskets to hold stuff like keys and change, I'd love an old candle holder. art ...and so on!!:))

Here is how the dresser looked before:

I love it now, I knew it had potential, but I didn't think I'd like it so much!! I also used Pure white- Annie Sloan Chalk Paint for the stripes and in between I used gold leaf. Also, the pattern there is made using a doily, I love that it is fun and that it greets you in a happy way when you enter the house!! Paired with the stairs and the two uneven storage units on the wall it makes for a happy entrance, right?!

Some close-ups:

I changed the pulls, which I bought from the hardware store, and, since they were brownish, I rubbed some gold paint on them, I did the same thing for the original hinges.

I just love how it turned out and I love that it holds all the shoes, this guy is a life saver!! It is waiting patiently for two stools on its left and the promissed gold mirror to complete the look!! And look what a nice find:

I love how this rug picks out on the floor tiles, which look like they are rusty and old, it matches the feel of the dresser. As you can see, for my entry I chose this old dresser painted  ASCP Provence, two new glossy mint clothes storage unit, the painted stairs, a sheepskin and antlers. I love this mix of old and new, it greets me when I enter the house and I feel that it is me! What do you think?

xoxo,
Ozana
