Ikea Stockholm Rug

Saludos calientes, amigos!!:)))
No, I didn't change the language of the blog, I am just fooling around! And this post has nothing to do with Spain, so I am truly just fooling around!! Why? Well, cause I don't speak Sweedish...at all!! Ikea is from Sweeden, right?? I, personally, like Ikea a lot. I discovered this store for the first time when I went to the capital to buy the bedroom for the girls' room. Took it home, assembled it with my husband, and created their room around the Ikea furniture. It is nor wood, maybe it will nor stand the test of time, but for my budget and my needs, it is just fine!
My personal decorator's aesthetic is: mix both cheap and expensive pieces, old and new, vintage and modern, throw in a bit of diy and enjoy!! Today I am showing you some gorgeous decors including Ikea's Stockholm Rug (or similar to it):

Another rug here would not bring such a vibe, right?!

I looks great on terracotta-like tiles...

Real-life!!

Minimalist.

Black and white works amazingly with browns and creams.

Sweedish style!

One of my faves, perfect mix of stripes, animals and antlers!!
...and busts!!...and green...and pink.. well you get the idea!!:))))

Simple and elegant...

Again, minimal...

I have a few Ikea things throughout my house and I am satisfied with them. Here is my Stockholm rug in the master bedroom:

You can se more photos of my bedroom here.

What do you think of Ikea?? Do share!!

  1. I have a love-hate relationship with Ikea - I love that you can almost always find what you're looking for at a reasonable price, but I hate that it's so big and almost always crowded! The Ikea here in Ottawa is the biggest one in Canada - three levels and over 1.5kms of walking to go all the way through the store.

I love Ikea frames, and I bought a cute flamingo shower curtain there a couple of months ago.

The Stockholm rug really is versatile - it looks great in all the different styles of rooms that you posted. You could also use it with pretty much any colour scheme.

  3. I want that rug sooooo bad, I just have to figure out where it would look best. I would like it in my bedroom under the bed, but my room gets a unbelievable amount of sun in the summer I know it would be toast in no time! I'm still thinking about it, since it looks stunning in your bedroom!

  4. Having read this I thought it was very informative. I appreciate you taking the
time and effort to put this informative article together.
I once again find myself personally spending a significant amount of time both
reading and posting comments. But so what, it was still worth
    it!
